Haste makes Waste

Yesterday, I was supposed to launch my first Friendster overlay layout which I would make available to everyone. I created the whole thing for about 7 hours only. When I was about to plug in the necessary add-ons, shoot!, I was soooooo disappointed when I found out that the space for my shoutbox was way below what was the minimum height required. :( Then, it would be tedious to make some modifications to the layout; tedious enough that I'd rather start to create a whole new layout. Silly me, the saying is very much true, "Haste makes Waste!"

Layouts made by me for my exclusive use will be posted (for show-off purposes, lol, just joking). Ofcourse, I'll also be making and posting layouts for everyone to use. Lihi sa Mangga

Okay, so here goes. Sa lote likod ng aming bahay owned by one of my mom's sisters, nagtayo sila (aunt) ng apartment. Kakatapos palang nito at may ginagawa pang finishing touches but may umuupa na sa dalawang rooms.

May isang buntis na kasalukuyang umuupa du'n at nung dumungaw siya sa bintana, she saw our mango tree and immediately, inihayag n'ya ang kanyang paglilihi sa hilaw na mangga/green mango. Shocking, bibilhin daw niya ang mga bunga! Eh, kami naman, we're generous, so we had one of the carpenters nearby na umakyat at pitasin ang ilang bunga. Naibigay na namin sa kanya, hindi namin pinabayaran at nagpasalamat siya. Okay naman...

PERO, diba may pamahiin na masama daw yung pinaglilihian ng isang buntis na 'di mo kakilala ang isang bagay within your bakuran?!? What's that superstition all about? Enlighten me please, lol

My goodness, an account linked to some 70 of my Friendster accounts before, during my reign as the Friendster King (self proclaimed? Not really)

OMG. I am shocked to have found some of my accounts before. (I had more than a hundred) I really had no life lolx, I could just laugh at myself as I try to remember how I created a new account almost weekly. But, why create new accounts then? Simple. Friendster limited the number of friends to 500 and lots and lots of people were adding me. I simply did not know why they added me even if I don't know them and they don't know me. And to show them my appreciation, I accepted them and added them to my friends list.

That's crazy!!

And reading each and every profile, I remember how childish and immature I was back then. The profile entries are simply senseless

But now I'm glad I've realized that this Friendster is a joke, and adding people you do not know is even more of a joke. Now I'm keeping one account, adding only my friends and people whom I know. But still, the remnants of my craziness remain and live long...

Tall, Dark and Handsome.... Papaya

On the right is a photo of a papaya tree at the backyard of the house we rented at Laguna Belair for summer. Papaya Trees can be completely uninteresting but I decided to take a photo of this specific tree because I was amused of its height. Enjoy! :-)
